I always pronounced it "BIN-kees". And while I really did not like going there, Mom would always promise me a trip to the Wonder Bread store nearby, where I would load up on assorted Hostess fruit pies, and snack cakes.

MMMM - Blueberry hostess fruit pie... MMMMM!

Also, the trip to BINKY'S would usually follow a trip to Laurel Mall, where I would have JUST gotten a new Star Wars or GI Joe figure, or comic books and/or baseball cards.

Trips to Laurel Mall in the early 80s will go down as the most enjoyable and adventurous shopping experiences of my entire life. Even more so than trips to Tyson's Corner Mall or Seven Corner's Mall to go to Woolworth stores for toys, comics, and cards.

I think that you are gonna adore this upcoming winter season here in Homestead and The Keys. Last winter we had a bunch of quick cold snaps - some of them were even frosty and freezing. This winter shouldn't be as drastic. The cold snaps will be milder; however, they will last a whole lot longer. I believe that we could actually see continuous chilly weather (below 70° by day) for weeks at a time - perhaps even a month-long or even longer cold wave ! Remember that you heard it from me first.

Hey, that 107.7 FM is a killer signal in Naples, it is just repeating a staticy signal that it is getting from Bonita Springs. You'll have to drive in through Immokalee and try out the 90.5 signal or through Clewiston and the 91.5 signal. And don't foget the 102.3 signal all over South Ft. Myers and Ft. Myers Beach. Thanks for the mention. Great concert the other night.

I loved the "Obama has done absolutely nothing" skit. It was great!

However, I loved the digital short music video "I Threw It On The Ground!" even more. My kind of silly, ridiculous, obscure humor.

Use God’s Word to define “tithe” and not a secular dictionary! Using a complete Bible concordance you will discover that the definition used by tithe-advocates is wrong. In God’s Word “tithe” does not stand alone. Although money existed before tithing, the source of God's "tithe" over 1500 years was never money. It was the “tithe of food.” True biblical tithes were always only food from the farms and herds of only Israelites who only lived inside God’s Holy Land, the national boundary of Israel. No tithes were accepted from defiled pagan lands. The “increase” was gathered from what God miraculously produced and not from man's craft or ability.

There are 16 verses from 11 chapters and 8 books from Leviticus 27 to Luke 11 which describe the contents of the tithe. And the contents never (I repeat), never included money, silver, gold or anything other than food from inside Israel! Yet the incorrect definition of "tithe" is the greatest error being preached about tithing today! (See Lev. 27:30, 32; Num. 18:27-28; Deut. 12:17; 14:22-23; 26:12; 2 Chron. 31:5-6; Neh. 10:37; 13:5; Mal. 3:10-11; Matt. 23:23; Luke 11: 42).
